Located at the confluence of the Bow River and the Spray River, this waterfall has a lot of history behind it. If the weather is nice, you may want to take a leisurely walk down Banff Avenue, over the Bow River Bridge and then take a sharp left onto a trail that follows the river. Breathe in the fresh air of the forest and look out for the boardwalks. The rushing sound of water will soon become louder and louder. As soon as you catch a glimpse of the falls, a certain scene from a certain movie may come to mind.
